Our Mission
Sun Academics provides tutoring, testing, and educational consulting services for learners of all ages. We utilize proprietary technology and a data-driven but student-first strategy to help students maximize their potential and achieve their goals. It is also part of our mission to increase access to educational resources by offering free mentoring, tutoring and admissions counseling to deserving students from low-income families.

Our founders created Sun Academics due to their shared goal of leveraging technology to transform education and lives. All of our instructors and coaches are required to spend half of their time preparing custom curricula and educational materials for their students. That means that your advisor or instructor will spend 60 minutes preparing for your hourlong session. Whether it involves developing gamified assignments or writing songs to help you memorize facts or formulas, we identify and create the tools and strategies that work for each student. We invest that time and energy because we understand that students excel when their lessons are tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
All of our teachers are certified and have more than twenty years of experience working with students of all different backgrounds, ages, personalities, and abilities. We run extensive background checks on all of our teachers and staff to ensure the safety of our colleagues and students. We also have teachers who specialize in working with students with special needs.
Our admissions consultants are all certified college advisors, career coaches, and alumni from top universities. They all have extensive experience advising domestic and international students. We developed a data-driven proprietary system to ensure that our students are best positioned for success. More importantly, we genuinely care about our students and work tirelessly to help them succeed.
